Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden Clarify Their Living Situation
The Real Housewives of Miami cast member and her new beau provided some details about her reported $32,000-a-month rental.
After moving out of the home she shared with her ex Lenny Hochstein, which you can tour in the clip above, Lisa Hochstein has settled into new digs. Since getting the keys to her Miami Beach condo, Lisa has shared a couple of glimpses into her gorgeous new home. On Instagram, she's offered a peek at her chic white furniture, modern art collection, and butterfly-flecked Christmas decor.
But when a report surfaced about who's paying the bills for Lisa's luxurious rental, both The Real Housewives of Miami cast member and her boyfriend Jody Glidden hopped into the comments to clarify some things.
Here's what happened: On November 24, Page Six shared an Instagram post alleging that Jody and her ex split the bills for Lisa's Miami Beach condo, which is said to cost $32,000 per month. Jody hopped into the comments to share his thoughts on the matter, writing a lengthy response to the piece.

Jody wrote: "I know that probably sounds crazy for most of America. When I was growing up in Canada you could BUY a house for that monthly rental price. But like NYC, Miami rental prices are out of control. We now unfortunately rank highest inflation in the country, mainly due to a squeeze on high end real estate like the 4-5 bedroom that she needed. Most people needing large homes or apartments now have to move way outside of the city."
Jody continued: "Lisa looked at over 30 places and was about to choose a place over 30 minutes south of her kids' dad's and my place (kind of neighbors) and 60 minutes away from their school. I intervened. I don’t want to be in the car all the time or have them in the car all day long. And it’s temporary since she’s supposed to have a house coming."
Lisa also commented on the post. When a follower asked why Lisa "can't do something on her own" to raise her income, the entrepreneur interjected: "I thought I was helping [my ex] build the surgery center and Medspa. Now I'm starting over. But I'm about to launch [Splitwell] to help women going through divorce a little bit better."
During BravoCon 2023, Lisa revealed that she was working on the website with Jody. “Because of this, all of these horrible things that have happened in my life, Jody and I — we are launching a platform to help other women,” Lisa said, adding that she wants to help “other people get through these really hard times and try to save costs on their divorce.
She concluded: "It’s something I feel like I’m meant to do on this earth, to help other people.”
