Why Gina's "Confident" About Real Estate Career (Hint: a $1.95 Million Sale Is Involved)
Gina Kirschenheiter shed new light on her real estate career in a RHOC Season 18 reunion preview and in an interview with BravoTV.com.
Gina Kirschenheiter is not only working it, she's rocking it — "it" being the Orange County real estate world, of course. In a new preview for Part 1 of The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 reunion (set to air Thursday, Nov. 7), Gina shares an update on her real estate career.
The news comes after host Andy Cohen asks how business is going, to which she replies that it's been "wonderful."
"I have to say, we're really getting some traction," explains the Jersey girl. "I just closed on a house last week. I have another deal closing Monday."
In case you missed it, Gina first revealed she was venturing into the world of real estate during the RHOC Season 17 premiere. "I have to figure out how I'm going to take care of my family. I have six mouths to feed, and I have to send them all to college, and I need to make as much money as I can now," she said, referring to her three kids and her boyfriend Travis Mullen's three kids.
And guess what? She and her beau are doing exactly that.
Gina Kirschenheiter recently sold a $1.95M listing
Elsewhere, in a recent interview with The Daily Dish, Gina shared more about her recent career successes.
"Our last listing just sold for $1.95 million. I was really excited about that. It was pretty awesome. That one just felt really good because we went, we got the business, we went in, we got the listing, it was just from soup to nuts we got it over the finish line," she said. "The more transactions I do, the more comfortable I get and confident I am in the position and in the job."
And really, it's not a gig she's completely unfamiliar with.
"It’s kind of like Housewives, your last season is what you’re gonna be judged off of so, you know, it’s like your last deal," she added. "That felt pretty good."
Did Gina Kirschenheiter move back in with Travis Mullen?
While discussing her job as a real estate agent, Gina teased plans for a potential move. (She and Travis currently still live apart.) "It’s really hard to window shop every day and not want to buy something, right? That’s how I look at houses. I love to shop. At the end of the day, I’m a shopper. That’s one of my favorite parts, is taking my clients around," she told The Daily Dish. "Like, I’ll take you to as many houses as you want to look at because it’s fun. It’s shopping with somebody else’s money, which is like the best part."
"I feel like I’m going to be able to make a very good decision when the time comes," Gina continued. "My goal is to be able to keep my condo and to buy a single-family home. I have a goal, I just am not, you know, I can’t make an impulsive decision because it wouldn’t be in my best interest. I’ve set a goal, and I’m gonna try to get there."
Are Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen still working together?
Yes, Gina and Travis are still working together — and it's going well.
"We actually work really well together," she told The Daily Dish. "The real estate is going really well, thankfully. We are a good team and we are a good unit."
According to the mother of three, the pair "didn't let any of [their] personal situation spill into [their] business."
"I think that was really helpful for us to be able to move forward," she added.
The Season 18 RHOC reunion begins Thursday, November 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Parts 2 and 3 air on November 14 and November 21, respectively, with episodes streaming the next day on Peacock.
