Ashley Darby Gives Us a Glimpse at a Very Real Mom Moment
The Real Housewives of Potomac mom shares a look at her morning with her adorable toddler.
Ashley Darby is sharing a real look at life as a mom. The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member recently took to Instagram to reveal a relatable moment between her and her one-year-old son, Dylan, during a busy morning together.
"Mommy hates turning down hugs, but my boy just ate a chocolate croissant," Ashley wrote in the caption of her March 25 post, which featured a video of the mom-of-two putting on her earrings and getting ready to go in the morning, only to be met with the outstretched chocolate-covered hands of her adorable toddler, Dylan, who wanted a hug at that moment.
Speaking of all things motherhood, Ashley also recently shared a heartfelt post showing gratitude for her own mom, writing in the caption of her March 21 post, "My mom always knows just what to say. I share this because I hope you all know how special you are, and remember that you are so worthy of love [and] support. All living things thrive best with encouragement and care."
Earlier this month, Ashley also gave a glimpse of her mom skills in the kitchen with a homemade birthday cake she prepared with the help of her eldest son, Dean, in honor of her baby boy, Dylan's, first-ever birthday celebration, as he turned 1.
"A huge thank you to our wonderful family for celebrating Dylan’s special day with us!" Ashley wrote in the caption of her March 3 post, alongside photos from her 1-year-old son's birthday bash. "Big boy was so happy to be with the people he loves! And thank you all for the love you’ve shown to us, we appreciate you! Thankfully, the cake I made tasted better than it looked. Happy 1 year bubba!!"
In addition to sharing fun-filled birthday moments, Ashley also shared a sweet montage of Dylan and her family over the years, including adorable captures of Dean and her husband, Michael Darby.
"Happy 1st birthday to my sweet boy Dylan," Ashley wrote in the caption of her March 2 post, adding, "The past 2.5 years of my life have been purely magical because I get to call myself the mother of two angels. Every day I stare at them in amazement and thank God for their lives. The world is heavy and there are so many people suffering, many of them little innocents like my babies. It’s heartbreaking. So today I’m hugging them extra tight and praying even harder."
