RHOP Producers React to Ashley Darby’s Revelations About Her Untraditional Marriage
Producers weighed in on Ashley opening up about her relationship even more during the cast trip to Portugal.
Ashley Darby shared a revelation about her marriage to Michael during a conversation that shocked a few of her fellow cast members on the November 22 episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac. In the above RHOP After Show clip exclusive to Bravo Insiders, Ashley reflected on how it felt to share the details with her friends, while the producers weighed in with what they knew about the Darbys’ relationship.
“Strangely, Michael venturing out the way he did has allowed me to finally be expressive about how we have done this together, and it’s a big relief,” Ashley explained. “I’ve made jokes and I’ve referenced it in the past to the women. Either they didn’t take me seriously, or they were just like, ‘Ah, that Ashley!’ But now that this has happened with Michael, they want more details. I guess the story is more salacious now, and they really want to know the details, and I’m happy to share. When the mood strikes, and I’m attracted to someone, and she’s attracted to me, and Michael comes over and there’s a mutual attraction, it is what it is.”
Gizelle noted that she was already aware of some of the details Ashley shared.
“I already knew that Ashley and Michael’s sex life and their relationship was, you know, not traditional,” said Gizelle. “I just didn’t think that she was going to share it with the group. I thought that she would kind of keep that to herself.”
