Ashley Darby Shares New Insight Into Split from Luke: "Things Have Transpired..."
RHOP's Ashley Darby also revealed if she wants to get remarried.
Ashley Darby is sharing new insight into where she stands with ex-boyfriend Luke Gulbranson today.
In case you need a refresher, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member connected with the Summer House alum at BravoCon 2022. The pair went on to have a whirlwind romance, but they parted ways after about three months of dating in January 2023.
During a recent exclusive chat with The Daily Dish, Ashley revealed that she is no longer on good terms with the hockey coach turned real estate agent.
"I do not talk to Luke," she said. "Some things have transpired that we just... initially, we were sort of leaving it as friends, but we are no longer friends."
On the November 17 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Ashley reiterated that the exes aren't on the same page these days.
While playing a game of "Swipe Right or Call It a Night," Ashley was asked if she would have any interest in Summer House's West Wilson.
When fellow guest Teresa Giudice pointed out that West is blond and she "dated that one guy from BravoCon" who also happens to be blond, Ashley joked, "I learned my lesson the first time."
Luke's face then popped up on the screen.
"Funny you mention this," Ashley responded. "The answer is definitely a hard no."
Ashley Darby reveals if she would get married again
The RHOP cast member has yet to officially divorce Michael Darby more than two-and-a-half years after they first separated, but she would be interested in walking down the aisle again in the future.
"Ultimately, yeah, I do want to be married," she told The Daily Dish. "I love being married. Just that unconditional, but conditional love that you have with somebody. It's just so special to have it again, for sure."
Ashley Darby shares what she's looking for in a partner
As for what she wants her potential future spouse to be like, Ashley is looking for "a male version of [her]."
"But, I've discovered that it's important to me that the next person in my life understands commitment because now that I have children and all these other things that come with me, my 'Chanel bags,'" she said, referring to her sons, Dean Michael and Dylan Matthew Darby. "I really have to be with someone who knows what that looks like. Not necessarily being my main focus and still being able to not feel like I'm neglecting them or whatever."
In addition, Ashley wants to share a deep physical and mental connection with her future partner.
"We also have to have physical chemistry, emotional chemistry," she continued. "We need to agree on politics, especially now, that's very important to me. [I need] somebody who really wants to be a husband or a wife, you know, whichever."
