Nneka Ihim Shares a Look Inside Her "Beautiful" Potomac Home
The RHOP newbie also broke down her family's real estate investments.
Nneka Ihim has built quite the impressive real estate portfolio.
The Real Housewives of Potomac fans will get a peek at one of her properties in Season 8 Episode 2, which will also mark Nneka’s official Housewives debut. A sneak peek of the broadcast shed more light on the attorney’s family life and revealed her newly purchased home in Potomac.
“20854, baby,” Nneka said in the preview, referring to the highly coveted Potomac zip code. “I just recently closed on a beautiful home in Potomac. My house is five bedrooms, five baths, 6,000 square feet, beautiful deck.”
The teaser followed Nneka and her husband, Dr. Ikenna “Iyke” Ihim, as they toured the property alongside their contractor, Jim. The scene began with Nneka stepping through the front door with her adorable puppy in hand, while construction workers finished the flooring.
“This looks great,” she said just moments after walking in. “This is looking good, Jim.”
Nneka Ihim shows off her family's abode
Although most of the home was still under construction, it was already looking all kinds of fabulous. The scene showed off the property’s sprawling backyard, gorgeous wood floors, a stone fireplace, clean white walls, and an abundance of large windows. It was clear the home was nearing completion; however, there were a few changes that needed to happen before Nneka’s family moved in. After expressing her distaste for a gold chandelier, the Potomac ’Wife made her way into the primary bathroom, which was pretty much empty.
“There will be no bags in this bathroom, right?” Iyke asked his wife. “I can just sit in my little tub in peace.”
“You don’t take baths. What are you talking about?” Nneka said. “Now that you’ve moved to Potomac you wanna take baths?”
“Yes, please,” her husband responded. “I just wanna sit in there and do what people do in those tubs.”
Nneka Ihim reveals she has properties all around the world
The scene then cut back to Nneka’s interview, where she listed some of her family’s properties.
“I never knew generational wealth was a problem until I got delayed for my closing,” she began. “The mortgage company found out that I had other properties that I failed to list: two lakefront properties in Wisconsin, a property in Florida, two properties in Maryland, we have property in Georgia, and we have several properties in Nigeria, I think.”
Nneka Ihim's RHOP Debut
The first-generation Nigerian-American is joining RHOP’s returning cast members Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Robyn Dixon, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Wendy Osefo, Mia Thornton, and Ashley Darby, who introduced Nneka to the group.
“My friend connected Nneka and I because Nneka had recently moved into the area, and I just love her energy,” Ashley said in an Episode 2 interview. “She’s fun. And I really do like surrounding myself with empowering, positive, intelligent women.”
