On November 14, Heather revealed how the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles family is already enjoying the holiday season. "Somehow I got conned into doing a gingerbread house tonight," Heather joked in a November 14 Instagram Story video, showing how her little ones were putting together the novelty sweet treat and drying it with different objects. "This should be fun!" Heather exclaimed at the end of the video over which she wrote, "The holidays have begun!"

In another Story, Heather recorded her kids dancing with a giant moving Grinch figure and playing Christmas music. "While we wait for our gingerbread house to dry," Heather wrote over the adorable video where the kids moved along with the head-turning home addition.

Josh and Heather Altman's Holiday Decorations

In December 2022, Josh and Heather spoke with The Daily Dish exclusively about how they prep for the holiday season.

“This is, like, my favorite time of year,” Heather shared in the interview, adding how her husband learned to "embrace the holidays" since their household includes “everything from, you know, Halloween, Thanksgiving, over to Hanukkah, Chrismukkah, and New Year’s.”

Because the couple and their children celebrate Hanukkah, Heather explained why she approaches holiday decorating a bit differently than how she grew up.

“Over the years, I’ve had to learn to give up the red, green, and gold decorations and embrace the blue and silver and white decorations,” she shared. “I really think that I should launch a Hanukkah decoration line because I don’t think there [are] enough decorations. So I am buying Christmas decorations and I customize them by doing blue with silver on them… We have 10 trees at our home, Hanukkah trees, inside and outside.”

Heather and Josh also spoke about their tradition of filling their backyard with snow. “It’s the best thing ever," Heather said. "We do sledding and snowmen.”

She added: “It’s going to be a tradition for the rest of our lives. No matter what.”
