Ashley Darby Debuts a Short New Hairstyle That Brings Out Her "Wild Side"
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member is showing off a new 'do that has her dancing in the streets.
Ashley Darby is feeling wild. The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member just got a new hairstyle, and it's making her dance in the streets with wild abandon. The new style is short, sleek, and sassy, and the mother of two couldn't wait to put it on display.
In an October 18 Instagram Story, Ashley showed herself sitting in a salon chair. While her hair was under a wrap in the pic, she hinted that "something's brewing" in her caption. She tagged stylist Corey, AKA Encore by Corey, in her caption. The former pageant winner also tagged makeup artist Alondra, who gave her a fresh, dewy beauty look replete with lilac shadow, blushing pink cheeks, and long, curled lashes.
Ashley's "after" post came in the form of a video, which she posted on her Instagram feed that same day. "This cut certainly brings out my wild side," she wrote in the caption of the post.

In Ashley's grand reveal of the new style, she wore a white bra top with slouchy sweatpants and white sneakers. She paired the look with hoop earrings, the gleaming makeup she'd shown off earlier, and — of course — the new coif.
The style in question featured a pixie cut with silky, retro-style curls. It also had a swooping, side-swept bang. Ashley Darby's Curled Bangs
Perhaps Ashley's chop had to do with the change of seasons, since she debuted a different hairstyle last spring. On March 1, the Potomac mama celebrated winter’s pending end with a new look and a glowing smile. “Spring is around the corner [and] I’m so excited for what this season of harvest and beauty has to bring!” she wrote in her caption.
The post included a video of Ashley looking radiant and refreshed, swaying her head around as Aretha Franklin’s “Hello Sunshine” played in the background.
A wind machine may or may not have been involved in the post, but something was definitely giving Ashley’s hair some extra sway. Her rose-gold ringlets tumbled down to her shoulders, and voluminous curly bangs spiraled down to her mile-long lashes.
