Meredith Marks Defends Her Shocking New Hair Look: “I Don’t Understand…” (EXCLUSIVE)
The RHOSLC cast weighed in on Meredith Marks' dramatic hair change during the The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show.
Meredith Marks isn't afraid to make an eye-catching fashion or beauty move (case-in-point: her crystal mesh face mask from Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City). On Season 5, Episode 10, Meredith once again opted for a daring look when she showed up to Mary Cosby's "Breakfast at Mary's" Audrey Hepburn-inspired party, and the other women...had some concerns.
"Meredith looked like Flintstones," Mary shared on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show, which you can watch above. Mary was talking about Meredith's fringe clip-on bangs, which Bronwyn Newport also joked would "spur one thousand memes."
Regarding her castmates' critiques of her hair look, Meredith wondered, "I don't understand how everyone wasn't wearing Audrey Hepburn bangs."
Heather Gay, who sat with Meredith on the After Show, came back with a bit of a zinger: "Because I had pride and dignity in my personal appearance."
Meredith Marks' Blonde-Highlighted Hair
Though we haven't seen Meredith wear bangs before, we have witnessed her trying out a different hair hue.
In January 2023, the fashion maven traded her deep brunette mane for a lighter look. “Went [caramel] brown for 24 hours lol,” the mom of three wrote over an Instagram Story that put her gorgeously highlighted strands on display as she posed in a strapless black midi dress and booties.
Though the brighter look only lasted for a day, we were still in awe of the style, which Meredith featured in a second Instagram post.
“[My stylist Henry De La Paz] was coloring my hair and went [caramel] brown for a min! Miss it already,” the jewelry designer captioned the photo that showed off the lighter color.
Meredith Marks' Closet Tour
In addition to being taken with Meredith's hair looks and styles, we're also always enthralled with her various outfits, from NYFW-ready looks to chic dresses.
In a video tour for BravoTV.com Meredith brought us into her stunning closet space in her Utah home. The walk-in closet is of course filled with plenty of designer goodies — including that crystal face mask designed by Christian Cowan. "You do know you can drink through this," she joked while trying on the mask for the camera.
"We all know I love a good blazer," Meredith said in the video tour. "I do tend to go very monochromatic in my looks. I wear very little pattern."
