Here’s Where Ashley Darby’s Divorce Stands Ahead of RHOP Season 8
Find out why the RHOP cast member's marital status is a "hot topic" amongst the ladies.
The cherry blossoms are in full bloom and the drama has never been shadier, as The Real Housewives of Potomac will soon be returning for Season 8 on Sunday, November 5.
Cast members Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Gizelle Bryant, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Mia Thornton, Dr. Wendy Osefo, Ashley Darby, and newbie Nneka Ihim are all going through various life changes on the new season, but one woman's relationship status confuses the rest of the group.
After announcing her separation from husband Michael Darby in the spring of 2022, Ashley's divorce is in limbo on Season 8. Find out more about what to expect from the RHOP O.G. on the upcoming season by scrolling below.
Are Ashley Darby and Michael Darby divorced?
According to Ashley's bio for RHOP Season 8, the status of her divorce is a bit of a question mark for the rest of the group.
As she settles into her new home with sons Dean and Dylan, Ashley's potential divorce "still remains a hot topic among the women."
The bio notes that "as she contemplates the life of a single mother and the financial challenges that lie ahead, she questions how she will support her family."
What Else to Expect from RHOP Season 8
Ashley isn't the only one who is embarking on a new chapter on RHOP Season 8.
Gizelle's situationship with Winter House alum Jason Cameron is breathing new life into the west wing of her home, while her friendship with Robyn hits a few bumps thanks to those past rumors about Juan Dixon.
Though Robyn and Juan did face infidelity speculation following their intimate wedding in August 2022, the RHOP cast member has remained by the retired athlete's side.
Karen, meanwhile, is celebrating her 60th birthday, and she's set to convert a family home in Surry County into a guest house/lodge. In an unexpected twist, Karen's closer to Gizelle than ever before, but her friendship with Mia is in a rocky place.
Mia, on the other hand, is going through a serious rough patch with her husband, Gordon Thornton (Mia announced that they had "separated" in September). Candiace is also dealing with some issues in her marriage to Chris Bassett as she focuses on touring and processing some news about her health.
Then there's Wendy, who is taking on a new business venture that "will combine her interests in politics, mental health and good gossip," and she quickly clashes with newbie Nneka.
Charrisse Jackson Jordan and Keiarna Stewart will also be appearing on Season 8 as friends of the ladies.
