Ashley Darby Shows Off the Chic Dining Area in Her New Virginia Home
The Real Housewives of Potomac mom has the cutest dining setup at her new Virginia abode.
Ashley Darby is settling into her new house in Arlington, Virginia. As she makes the house a home, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member is sharing glimpses of the gorgeous abode that she shares with her sons, Dean and Dylan. And in her most recent dispatch from the five-bedroom house, Ashley shared a peek at her family’s cute dining space.
In the March 5 Instagram Story, the room looked especially festive. Crowned with an impressive balloon arrangement from Let’s Get It Poppin’ Balloons, the charming area featured a round white table with a bouquet of flowers at its center. The table was surrounded by six cushioned lattice-back chairs.
The walls of the dining space were painted a pretty grayish-blue shade, and white shutters framed the windows. The room also had light-wood floors and was spruced up with some leafy greenery. “Still going strong after almost a week,” Ashley wrote in her caption, referring to the balloons that had been a part of her younger son’s birthday party decorations.
And speaking of her son, the mama gushed, “So proud to usher in the soul of this amazing human, Dylan Matthew. [Two] years down.” Check out where the now-2-year-old has his meals:
In earlier posts, Ashley shared all the details from Dylan’s epic second birthday bash. The party, which was planned by TWIST Event Planning, had more than amazing balloon installations.
There was also a two-tier cake, a bounce house, a customized ball pit from Fun For Tots, and a setup for the little ones to paint. “The wheels on the bus turned round and round for Dylan’s 2nd birthday!” Ashley captioned her February 26 Instagram post, referencing the theme of the party. “Thank you all for celebrating with us and bringing so much joy!”
Ashley opened up about her home-buying process on Season 7 of RHOP. “I’ve put three offers in, and every time another offer came in that was all cash, and the [sellers] decided to go with them,” Ashley explained in an interview. When asked why she and Michael, who had separated, didn’t make a cash offer on a home, Ashley noted, “[Michael] doesn’t think that’s a financially sound decision, [and] I don’t either.”
Ashley has since been open about the $13,000-a-month mortgage she pays on her current home. In terms of financial responsibility, Ashley has shared that she and Michael “haven’t quite delved into how it will break up, paying the mortgage.”
“Because we are still married and buying this home, we are 50/50 owners,” she said. “I think Michael and I are in agreement that this is Ashley Darby’s property, and Ashley Darby’s property only.”
