Ashley Darby Shares an Unexpected Story About Michael Darby's Past Business
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member revealed the "iconic" venue her husband previously owned.
On the October 24 episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Ashley Darby planned a "very sexy date night" for Michael Darby.
Ashley excitedly filled their incredible hotel room with (Karen Huger's) candles, flowers, and, yes, Reddi-wip. However, there was one choice she didn't feel totally confident about: the luxury hotel.
"I wasn't sure how you would feel about the Watergate knowing that you previously owned it," Ashley said to her husband. Despite Michael's business history with the hotel, he seemed perfectly happy to be there. "This is one of the best views in the country," he said as they walked out to the room's private wrap-around balcony. "It's very cool."
In an interview during the episode, Ashley opened up more about Michael's involvement with one of the most well-known hotels in the world. "The beautiful Watergate hotel is an iconic place in D.C," she said. "It's famous in history and Michael used to own it."
Ashley wore a sexy leopard-print minidress for the special evening and styled her hair in a chic low bun. Last year, she gave her Instagram followers a different peek at her date night style when she rocked a full black bodysuit with multi-colored snakeskin boots for a night out with Michael. In her caption, she declared, "Date night with my hubby had me feeling like a million bux."
