Jessel Taank Reveals Who She Thinks Was the Worst Dressed 'Wife at the RHONY Reunion
Jessel said she "didn't quite understand" the reunion look one RHONY woman chose.
There has been much talk since The Real Housewives of New York City Season 14 reunion looks were revealed, though one of the ladies is being compared to a sinking ship.
Jessel Taank Calls This Look the Worst for the RHONY Reunion
Jessel Taank appeared on the October 1, 2023 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen for a game of Truth or (Jessel) Drinks, where guests must sip on their cocktails if they refuse to answer our most burning questions.
First, the fashion publicist and mother-of-two had to answer which of the ‘Wives dressed the worst for the highly anticipated RHONY reunion, a question met with much oohing.
“So, not ‘worst,’ but I think that she wasn’t dressed for her personality: Brynn was doing this whole Amish-sexy thing,” said Jessel, referring to Brynn Whitfield.
Andy nodded in agreement, twice comparing Brynn’s look to something you might see on the Titanic, the ill-fated ship that sank in the northern Atlantic Ocean in 1912.

“It was like, ‘Forgive me, God, for I have sinned,’” Jessel continued while making the sign of the cross. “And I didn’t quite understand it.”
Brynn’s Reunion Look, Revealed
Brynn’s reunion choice has (figuratively) turned heads on the internet: a long, off-the-shoulder, black velvet dress with lacy accents. The look is one of the more modest ensembles — at least by reunion standards — but not off-brand for the vintage-style dresses created by Alessandra Rich, whose luxury dresses are often inspired by fashion ranging from Puritan to modern (think ruffles and lace collars).
Brynn previously joked her getup was “a little bit OnlyFans [crossed with] Salem Witch Trials.”
The dress featured a high slit and a jeweled heart in the center, with Brynn wearing her hair down and keeping her jewelry to a minimum.
Brynn enhanced the look by wearing silver, pointed-toe heels by Roger Vivier.
On Friday, September 29, 2023, Brynn posted a photo of herself in the dress and used her own words to describe it.
“In my mind, the reunion took place in 1692 on a love boat version of the Mayflower,” she captioned, added an anchor, white heart, and wink-face emojis.
Despite Jessel’s feelings about Brynn’s wardrobe choice, Brynn is still getting a lot of love from the online community.
It wasn’t the only time Brynn was a point of conversation between Jessel and Andy on the recent WWHL episode. During a game of Taank Space — when Jessel was asked what about her fellow RHONY castmates annoys her the most — it had to do with the multiple occasions Brynn called Jessel the "forgettable" Housewife.
“I just want to say the Jessel memes to the Brynn memes, it’s kind of like this right now,” said Jessel as she indicated an imbalanced scale with her hands.
It remains to be seen whether Brynn’s Mayflower look will be the subject of online meme-age, though Jessel’s eye-popping reunion look is also making waves on the internet. Donning a Blumarine long dress in laminated jersey with a daring cut-out at the waist and Fendi heels, Jessel said she wanted to channel her “Indian culture in subtle ways” while also going for a look that gave “Egyptian queen” vibes.
“I’m going to look like an Oscar because I am the prize,” she previously joked with The Daily Dish.
Jessel also predicted she’d “obviously” be one of the reunion’s “hot topics.”
“I think I’m the topic,” Jessel told The Daily Dish. “It should just be called The Jessel Show.”
