Jessel Taank Fears She’s “Making a Big Mistake” With Pavit: “I’m About to Lose My Sh–t"
To have a third child or not? That is the question as Jessel Taank and her husband go to dinner on The Real Housewives of New York City.
Jessel Taank has made no secret about her desire to have a third child with her husband, Pavit, on The Real Housewives of New York City.
After a long journey of in vitro fertilization, she gave birth to their twins, Rio and Kai. Since then, the couple has kept frozen embryos ready to go. On Season 15, Episode 6, Jessel’s mother made a visit—and Jessel decided to get real with Pavit about adding to their family.
Jessel and Pavit went out to dinner, which delighted the self-proclaimed foodie and global traveler. But Jessel was concerned her husband was taking the food more seriously than their conversation.
“I always question where I am on the totem pole of priorities,” Jessel said in her confessional. “If I was a pork bun, I’d get everything I wanted.”

Jessel Taank Wants to Have Third Child
Jessel told Pavit over dinner that she met with Tasha, her IVF coach.
“Pavit and I, well, we’ll say me, I’ve been toying around with the idea of doing number three,” Jessel said to Tasha in a flashback. “I want a girl. But I can’t get pregnant naturally, that we know.”
“You’re getting teary talking about it. It means it’s something you really want,” Tasha noted.
But Jessel admitted to Pavit the decision was more complicated than that.
“I think that the decision to have another baby is not just one person,” Jessel said, to which Pavit responded quickly, “Well the decision’s already made. There’s no baby.”
Despite that, Jessel tried to convince Pavit another child was a good decision.
“Oh my god. You stress me out, dude. We would be making a big mistake if we didn’t do it,” she said.
Pavit questioned why it would be a “big mistake.”
“I think it would be a big mistake because we have the embryo,” Jessel explained. “A lot of people who want to have a girl, and do it naturally, they can’t guarantee that.”
“I’m sorry, am I interrupting you in your chicken moment?” she then asked, as he took a photo of the chicken during their conversation. His lack of attention upset Jessel.
“I’m about to lose my sh-t. I think we should probably see a professional therapist to help us figure this out. I think that you and I, and our communication, could use a little work,” she told him.
The two then argued over who needs to work on communication more, as Jessel accused Pavit of thinking “that everything’s a joke.”
“I truly believe a therapist would help him sort of understand his emotions,” Jessel said in her confessional. “Communication is key in a marriage, and so, as much as it’s opening the gates to the baby conversation, I truly do think it might help Pavit and I could communicate better.”
Although they argued over how much to spend on a therapist, Pavit agreed to arrange a session.
“It’s very frustrating,” Jessel admitted in her confessional. “That’s just his way of kind of brushing everything under the rug. There’s no talking. Like that is how we deal with conflict in our household. And let me tell you, this sh-t is not working.”
