Jessel Taank Breaks Down Husband Pavit's "Very Serious" Food Influencer Career (EXCLUSIVE)
The Real Housewives of New York City cast member revealed new details about her husband Pavit Randhawa's social media career.
Jessel Taank is sharing new details on her husband Pavit Randhawa's food influencing career.
During a recent stop by Bravo HQ, as you can watch in the video above, The Real Housewives of New York City cast member answered a few questions about her life these days. After noting she had "no updates" about her and Pavit's possible plans to have another child, Jessel said, "He's heavy into the food influencing situation."
As RHONY viewers may recall, Jessel first spoke about her husband's newfound passion during Season 14 of the show. According to the fashion maven during her recent conversation with BravoTV.com, things have really taken off for Pavit in his foray into the food influencing sphere.
"[It's going] so well," Jessel added about Pavit's career, also pointing out that he "bought himself a green screen" to use when he films videos.
"His office has a green screen and it's so hideous to look at, but he's very serious about it," she revealed. "I think he really thinks he's making a dent in the food world, which he probably is!"
On the Season 15 premiere of RHONY, Jessel explained the origin of Pavit's food influencing career.
"Pavit has always been obsessed with food, but this whole Vietnam fiasco has really inspired him to become a food influencer," she said. "'What does your husband do?' 'Oh, he's a food influencer.' What the f-ck? I married a banker. How the hell am I married to a food influencer all of a sudden?"
"The way he looks at a piece of fried chicken, I don't think he's ever looked at me like that," she joked. "I have thighs. I have breasts. I could be coated in flour and batter if he wants me to."
Jessel Taank's Husband Pavit Reveals His Top 10 Street Foods in New York City
Per Pavit's Instagram bio, he has named himself the president of the "Street Food Association of New York City," the "founding member" of the "Fried Chicken Committee," and the "Chief Tasting Officer" of the "NYC Sandwich Society."
We have every reason to rely on the food conoisseur's taste, which he's avidly documented on his Instagram page.
In August 2023, for example, Pavit shared his "Top 10 Street Food Joints in NYC," first sharing his go-to spots for Mexican cuisine, including Birria Landia, Los Taco No. 1, and more.
Pavit then shared his love for Mamoun’s Falafel, which has been "a staple for years" for New Yorkers. RHONY's Erin Lichy concurred with this take, commenting on the video, “Love Momouns!!!”
Also on Pavit's list is Scarr’s Pizzeria for "the best" slice of classic NYC pie, while Prince Street Pizza also offers deep dish for a different kind of craving.
Rounding out his list are the "must-try" noodles from Cheong Fun's food cart as well as Chelsea Market’s Very Fresh Noodles. “I really think it’s one of my favorite dishes in, actually, all of New York City,” Pavit stated in the video.
Last but not least, Pavit pointed foodies to Banh Mi Saigon, which has what he calls New York’s best Banh Mi sandwiches.
