Brynn Whitfield and Erin Lichy Made Multiple Real Housewives Puke with “Disgusting” Trick
Brynn and Erin slipped something into the dessert that caused two ‘Wives to run to the bathroom on The Real Housewives of New York City.
It’s not April Fool’s Day, but Brynn Whitfield and Erin Lichy couldn’t pass up an opportunity to prank their fellow ‘Wives while on vacay at Erin’s Sag Harbor home. On The Real Housewives of New York City Season 15, Episode 4, Erin approached Brynn about a joke that involved a pest.
“The cockroach looks real!” Brynn exclaimed when Erin showed her the fake bug. “This is a New York City cockroach.”
The ladies were all cooking dishes for a supper at Erin’s, including Jenna Lyons, who was making a pavlova meringue-based dessert with fruit.
“I think we should put it on Jenna’s meringue,” Erin said, causing Brynn to chime in, “Ubah [Hassan] will freak out!”
Brynn clarified this was purely a prank.
“We’re not trying to actually upset anyone,” she explained in her confessional. “Just gross people out — shock value. Like, it’s going to make some people mad for sure. Like, at least we get a laugh.”
Erin also was excited to pull off the prank.
“Jenna, going on and on about the pavlova,” she said in her confessional. “I have heard the word pavlova maybe 50 times. So of course, I want to put roaches in the pavlova. Chef’s kiss!”
The Housewives have strong reactions to RHONY prank
At the end of dinner, Jenna brought her pavlova dessert to the table, and all of the Housewives began eating it together right off the serving plate.
“This is like bakery-worthy,” Sai de Silva declared.
But when a few minutes went by, and no cockroach had been found, Erin decided to speed up the discovery. She scooped a hunk of the dessert onto Jessel Taank’s plate and told her, “We have to finish this.” A moment later, Jessel screamed.
“There is eight f-cking legs in my plate. Oh my god!” she yelled, picking up the fake cockroach, then throwing it back onto her plate.
As Ubah spit all her dessert back onto her plate and ran from the table, Jenna picked up the fake cockroach, clearly realized it wasn’t real, and licked all of the meringue off of it.
“Is that why you kept offering to help?” Jenna asked Erin, who was laughing and high-fiving Brynn across the table.
Sai ran after Ubah, who was puking in the bathroom, and told her, “It’s not real! It’s fake!” But seeing the scene in the bathroom caused Sai’s own dinner to come back up.
“Oh my god, everyone’s throwing up,” Erin screamed. “Ew! They’re throwing up in my sinks!”
But Ubah calmed down after she learned the pest wasn’t real.
“Today, I realized if I get pregnant and start throwing up, Sai cannot come over,” Ubah said.
As Brynn and Erin declared “mission accomplished,” Sai reflected on how a fake cockroach brought everybody together.
“We’re all laughing, we’re all having a good time, and when the group is good, the group is good,” Sai said in her confessional. “We all have a lot of fun. When there’s no bullsh-t. Maybe some vomit. But definitely no bullsh-t.”
