Jessel and Pavit Can’t Get on the Same Page with Romance: “Literally Ridiculous”
Jesel and Pavit didn't exactly get all the right answers during a game.
Jessel Taank and her husband, Pavit Randhawa, may have been married for a decade, but that doesn’t mean they always know everything about the other. When The Real Housewives of New York City lovebirds sat down with producers to play “The Newlyweds Game,” they didn’t exactly match up on answers, causing Jessel to dub them a “dysfunctional” couple by the end of play.
Jessel and Pavit's Newlywed Game
Which iconic New York landmark best represents their relationship? For the first question, Pavit and Jessel had slightly different takes, with Jessel responding, “the Empire State Building” while Pavit answered, “Rikers Island.”
“Rikers Island?!” Jessel cried out in disbelief.
“Next question,” Pavit declared.
Pavit’s most romantic gesture? A first-class trip to Greece, Jessel offered, but Pavit instead wrote, “Everything I do is romantic.”
“Oh my god, you are so full of BS it’s not even funny,” Jessel replied.”The trip to Greece was very good. He flew me first class to Greece and we weren’t even married. So, like, he was trying to get it, you know.”
As far Jessel’s most romantic gesture? Nothing, according to Pavit, although Jessel countered with, “I carried your freaking children,” which Pavit insisted was not romantic.
“OK, I got my thing … I let you do whatever you want — that’s pretty romantic,” Jessel wrote.
But Pavit believed her biggest gesture … was to get him a bottle of water.
“Stop it! Come on! I let you go halfway across the world to do whatever you want to do,” Jessel retorted, and he replied, “True, I’ll give you that one.”
After 10 years of marriage and two kids together, you’d think Pavit and Jessel could name their craziest New York City adventure together, right?
“We met random strangers at dinner and we partied with them all night, “Jessel offered. Pavit’s answer was the Central Park Zoo.
“What are you talking about? Your answers are literally ridiculous,” Jessel said as the couple was now zero for four in the game.
Jessel and Pavit get on the same romantic page
Where is the most romantic spot in Manhattan, according to Jessel?
“It’s where dreams are made of. Bergdorf Goodman [department store],” Jessel answered. Pavit agreed, writing “Any handbag store.” Score is one of five!
Where does Pavit consider the most romantic place in the Big Apple?
“Oh, that’s so easy, good lord, the halal chicken cart,” Jessel said, agreeing with Pavit, who wrote “street food cart.”
“By the way, he will go there by himself, without me, and that’s where the romance is: him, a plastic fork, some hot sauce, and chicken and rice,” Jessel added.
If they could travel anywhere in the world together? Bali. Most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to them? Falling down the stairs and their antics during drunken nights. In fact, Jessel and Pavit got up to four correct answers before it fell apart again.
“What’s a secret talent you wish the other would showcase more often,” they were asked.
“Speaking Japanese. You should showcase it more,” Pavit revealed of Jessel.
Jessel wanted Pavit to up his credit card limit. That’s why he responded Jessel’s favorite thing about him was his credit cards, while Jessel answered she loves his dimples. Aw!
