Stephanie Hollman's Son Cruz Was Hospitalized After "He Could Literally Not Breathe"
The Real Housewives of Dallas son now "feels better," but his mom "was scared to death" during this emergency.
Stephanie Hollman experienced a bit of a health scare with her son, Cruz, after he had trouble breathing earlier this week.
The Real Housewives of Dallas mom shared on Instagram that her 7-year-old was admitted to the hospital on Monday, February 4. "Long night in the hospital with Cruz last night. He had Croup and was having a very difficult time breathing," Stephanie wrote in a post that showed her in her son's hospital bed. "Thankfully he is feeling so much better and gets to go home soon."
Stephanie elaborated on what happened with Cruz in some videos in her Instagram Story the morning after he was admitted to the hospital, sharing that "he could literally not breathe last night" and that "he was wheezing." "We went to the doctor earlier yesterday," Stephanie shared. "And they gave him a nebulizer, but then after he did that last night, he was wheezing and could not catch his breath, so we went to the emergency room. And they gave him all types of treatments."

Stephanie said that Cruz was then diagnosed with croup, an infection of the upper airway that makes it difficult to breathe and causes a barking cough. "I'm so glad he feels better because I was scared to death yesterday. But medical said he is amazing, and they took good care of us," Stephanie said. "So we're gonna be living our best life here for a little bit longer."
Get well soon, Cruz!
