Gina Kirschenheiter Reflects on Her “Lifestyle Change” 3 Years Later: “Incredible”
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member recently gave a major update on her sobriety journey.
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Gina Kirschenheiter has officially been alcohol-free for almost three years and she is loving her life. As she marks a milestone in her journey, she has nothing but amazing things to say about cutting out alcohol from her life.
Gina shared in a recent interview that not drinking alcohol has been the "most incredible change" she has made to her life so far. "Honestly, the biggest tip and trick and lifestyle change for me is coming up on three years sober, three years not drinking," she told Us Weekly on Nov. 14. "That is the most incredible change and shift and edit I've ever made to my life. I fully recommend it to everyone."
The mom of three continued, noting that she highly recommends it to anyone looking to make a change in their life: "Because I feel the way I feel, and how much positivity that has come into my life since I made the decision to stop drinking. I would love to share that with other people and just say, 'Look, if you're thinking about stopping drinking, do it. It will literally change your life for the better in every way.'"
Gina Kirschenheiter reveals why she went "California sober"
Previously Gina has been open about said "lifestyle change" and the pivots she's made in her life, as she did back in 2023 when she shed more light on her decision to stop drinking.
During RHOC Season 17, Gina opened up about why she went "California sober". "I stopped drinking, which helped me lose a lot of weight and look great, but also mentally, I really think it's much better for me," she explained during an interview in the episode.
"So I am California sober. We don't drink, but we still dabble in marijuana," she added. "I don't want to feel like crap all the time. It's not good for me."
Also in 2023, in an interview with People, Gina reflected on her choice to cut drinking out of her life. “I can’t begin to describe how much it’s changed me,” she told the publication last year. “Drinking was a big part of my life and to eliminate it was a huge shift for me personally. But it’s had this trickle-down, ripple effect where I’ve just seen so many things shift for the better. And I couldn’t be happier.”
