Kris Jenner Applauds Selma Blair After She Steps Out Amid MS Battle: "She Showed Me What Courage Is"
The American Crime Story actress opened up about how the KUWTK mom showed her support.
When it comes to having strong figures in her life as she battles "aggressive MS," Selma Blair has to look no further than the support of her son, Arthur, as well as Kris Jenner. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians momager definitely has nothing but love for the actress, who is opening up this week about being diagnosed with MS after stepping out at the Oscars this past weekend. The Academy Awards appearance marked her first public outing since making her MS diagnosis public last October.
“She really is sharing something so vulnerable, and so scary,” Kris shared in Vanity Fair about the actress' health struggles. “She showed me what courage is, and how to be brave. I changed a bit of the way I live my life because of her.”
The two women share an interesting history as Selma played Kris in 2016's American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson. Since then, they have become friends.
And the matriarch of the Kar-Jenner family sent Selma the traditional Kardashian gift of flowers to show her support following her MS diagnosis last year. Selma shared with VF that the flowers sent to her by Kris “were more expensive than my mortgage."

In her VF profile, Selma also noted the support she's received on social media from others suffering from the disease. “I’m pretty much a nobody in Hollywood. But when I read comments on Instagram from people who were suffering, whether it was from M.S., or anything, I thought, Holy s--t, there’s a need for honesty about being disabled from someone recognizable," she added.
