See the First Photo of Fredrik Eklund's Twins
The Million Dollar Listing New York agent gives a glimpse at the "happiest moment" of his life.
Fredrik Eklund is officially a father, and he has the most adorable photo of his twins to show for it.
The Million Dollar Listing New York agent announced the news that he and husband Derek Kaplan had welcomed twins Fredrick and Milla on Instagram Tuesday. He also shared the first photo of their son and daughter, and it's definitely the cutest thing you'll see all day — maybe even all year.
The photo shows Fredrik and Derek sharing a kiss as they hold their newborns in what appears to be a hospital. You can see Fredrick and Milla's sweet, little faces peeking out from under their blankets and caps. "Happiest moment of my life," Fredrik gushed on Instagram. "Welcome Fredrick and Milla to the world."
MDLNY fans know that Fredrik has long planned to name his future daughter Milla, but naming their son Fredrick was actually Derek's idea, he told The Daily Dish in August.
Fredrik and Derek have long been preparing for their twins' arrival. They have previously given fans a glimpse at their babies' nursery and super fabulous wardrobe.
The MDLNY agent shared his gratitude to his surrogate, who has been living with the couple leading up to the twins' birth, and to his fans just before the babies' arrival. "The last photo before the twins arrive in just a few days. So thankful... most of all to our surrogate, she’s become family through this. At night I put my hand on her stomach and feel Milla and Fredrick kicking & we can’t wait to finally welcome them home," Fredrik shared on Instagram on Thanksgiving day. "It’s hard to explain but Derek and I’ve both been so giggly all the time lately. It’s like entering another dimension this thing, if you’ve had kids perhaps you can relate? I think my heart is going to explode when I finally hold them. We’re so appreciative of all the well-wishes and love."
