Shortly after returning to the Tufts University campusThe Real Housewives of Orange County daughter announced the release of her first-ever single. Max — the child of RHOC’s Heather Dubrow — teased the track via Instagram on Friday (August 18), when she shared a clip of the song’s accompanying visual. The video featured a profile shot of the student as she looked forward with a pensive expression and took a puff from a vaping device.

Heather Dubrow says she's so "proud" of Max

“My first single ‘mildly wasted’ comes out soon on all platforms,” she captioned the post.

The preview received praise from multiple influencers, as well as Max’s little sister, Kat.

“NO ONE IS READY FOR THIS,” Kat commented, before leaving a series of heart and flame emojis. “YESSSSSSSSSSSS… ATE.”

Max Dubrow explains the meaning behind her original track

Max shed more light on the record in a TikTok video posted earlier this week.

“Hi, so I’m putting out a song in the next two days called ‘Mildly Wasted’ by me, Max Dubrow,” she said. “And it’s about getting cheated on and not being able to love after that and hurting the people in the process. So follow for updates.”

The song can be heard now on YouTube and Apple Music.

Max Dubrow's Singing Background

Of course, this isn’t the first time Max has shown off her singing chops. Back in 2016, Heather shared footage of her oldest daughter’s solo performance during her school’s holiday show. The teen then hit the Whisky a Go Go stage in 2017 to perform live with Quiet Riot, the 1970s metal band that featured her late uncle, Kevin Dubrow — the brother of Heather’s husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow.

“My uncle on my dad’s side was the lead singer of Quiet Riot, and then he passed away,” Max told Entertainment Tonight on the day of the gig. So, I’m going to be singing kind of like what he was doing.”

Heather told the outlet that the event was “a little bittersweet,” but that “Kevin would be super proud” of his niece.

“As we were driving up, [Max] was like ‘Oh, wait: It’s at the Whisky?’” Heather told ET with a laugh. “I don’t think she realized the gravitas of the whole thing.”

She continued: “… When it comes to stuff like this, I believe in her. She’s fun and talented and amazing, and all I said to her was, have fun! ‘Cause that’s all it’s about. It’s a cool life experience and just have fun and kill it. What I’ve noticed about my kids is, they’re mostly dabblers. Which is completely fine with me. All I care about is that they’re happy and lucky, and healthy. Happy, lucky, healthy. That’s all.”
