How Alexis Bellino's Son, Miles, Helped Evolve Her Beliefs
RHOC friend Alexis Bellino shared a sweet update on her youngest son, Miles Bellino.
Alexis Bellino is opening up about how her transgender son, Miles Bellino, has helped shape her belief system.
The Real Housewives of Orange County friend popped up on Part 2 of the Season 18 reunion, which aired on November 14, and it was there that she shared how Miles has encouraged her to be more "vocal" when discussing her support of the LGBTQIA+ community.
"It hasn't changed my mind about LGBTQ or that everyone should have their own right to live their life the way they want," she said on the reunion stage. "All it has done is made me understand the pain that is along with that when people are so judgmental. It changed me being more vocal about it is all its done."
When viewers first met Alexis on Season 5 of RHOC, she was candid about how devoutly Christian she and her then-husband, Jim Bellino, were in their marriage.
Nowadays, Alexis is still firm in her beliefs — even if she doesn't talk about it on the show as much.
"I don't like to use the word religion and I think that's a very negative connotation," Alexis said during the reunion. "I'm very spiritual and I do love my God."

After showcasing her romance with John Janssen (who she fondly refers to as "Johnny J") on Season 18, Alexis got engaged to the California businessman on their nine month dating anniversary in August 2024.
Once John popped the question, Alexis texted her family group chat — which includes Miles and her older son, James, and her daughter, Mackenna.
"I sent a picture of the engagement ring to the whole family chain," she said on Part 2 of the reunion about her three kids, who didn't know about the proposal ahead of time. "Miles' response was 'WTF.' He's like, 'CALL ME NOW,' all capital letters."
When Alexis got ahold of her 16-year-old son, their conversation went, "'He's like, 'John, you did not ask my permission!' It was cute."
"John's like, 'Are you okay with it?'" Alexis recounted. "And Miles is like, 'Yeah, I love you.'"
As Alexis shared in during a Bravo HQ appearance in September, her older son, James, has already asked to give her away.
"I'm not walking down an aisle," Alexis said about the June 2025 nuptials. "But, my son James did ask to give me to John, so we're gonna have to figure that out because I don't want to walk down an aisle."
