Fredrik Eklund Reveals How His Family Will Handle Living Bi-Coastal, Confirms "You’ll Be Able to Follow Our Journey on MDLNY"
And you can bet the MDLNY family's change of scenery is already the talk of the town.
Fredrik Eklund and his adorable family have officially said bye to the Big Apple for the West Coast. The Million Dollar Listing New York agent confirmed the move on Instagram and noted that fans will "be able to follow our journey on MDLNY this season." (BTW, Season 8 of the series kicks off later this summer.)
The move means some big adjustments for Fredrik, husband Derek Kaplan, and their twins, Freddy and Milla, as "the kids and Derek will be here [in Beverly Hills] full time and I’ll be going back and forth between LA, NY and even Miami overseeing the teams. I guess I do love airplanes and travel lol."
The move was fresh (it took place just this week), and Fredrik noted, "Moving a family with toddlers isn’t easy, but spending more time in California while expanding the business here’s something we’ve talked about for years."
We're also sure that Derek's oldest son, Kai, also can't wait for all that fun in the sun.
The move is definitely the talk of the town as well, with a number of Bravolebs past and present weighing in on the news.
MDLNY alum Michael Lorber simply shared two kissy face emojis in response to the exciting news. MDLNY newbie Tyler Whitman added, "BUT WE JUST BECAME FRANDS!!!"
Meanwhile, MDLNY's Emilia Bechrakis sent the agent a heart emoji and the message, "Good luck!!!"
Over on the West Coast, Shahs of Sunset's Mike Shouhed embraced the L.A. transplants with open arms, commenting, "Welcome to our amazing city!"
MDLNY returns on August 1, and you can check out what's to come during Season 8, above. Below check out some vintage Fredrik.
