Fredrik Eklund Shares a New Look at His Luxe Life in Miami (PHOTOS)
The MDLLA and MDLNY alum shared a candid look inside his day-to-day life after relocating to Florida.
Fredrik Eklund is living his best life in Florida.
After the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles and Million Dollar Listing New York alum moved to the Sunshine State earlier this year (and sold his Beverly Hills home for $10 million in June), he's documented various moments of his new life in Miami. On September 25, Fredrik hopped on his Instagram Stories to share more behind-the-scenes details of his Miami life, starting with a view of some luxurious activities.
"Filming," he wrote over a Story of looking at a helicopter. Though the realtor didn't get into details about what exactly he was filming, another snapshot saw him posing next to a lavender-colored Rolls-Royce Ghost and a private jet in the background.
Another photo showed himself and several people posing in upscale business-casual outfits on a beach. "Miami team is growing so fast," he wrote over the snap, implying this group of people were fellow real estate employees.
Fredrik also went on to share a view of what appeared to be the balcony of his new home. "Good morning Miami (and world)," he wrote over the gorgeous photo of the ocean and beach.
In another photo, Fredrik asked his Instagram followers if he should get a new haircut.
Fredrik's two children, twins Milla and Freddy, also seemed to be enjoying their new home in Miami, as evidenced by a video Fredrik took of them building a fort for their stuffed animals.
"We're doing a camp inside in my room!" Freddy exclaimed as his dad playfully responded, "A camp?!"
Fredrik Eklund Buys an Apartment in New York City
In addition to his new home in Miami, Fredrik also just revealed he bought an apartment in New York City.
"I just got the keys to the new apartment at 64 University [Place]… It’s always such a special feeling buying a new home full of new beginnings," the Florida dad captioned a September 20 Instagram series that showed the interior and exterior details of the apartment. "New York is always a home to me. This building is very special as I signed the very first contract after having worked on it in pre-development for years with the team. I just knew how beautiful it would turn out."
The beautiful place, which Fredrik noted made him "so grateful and happy," was designed by Kohn Pederson Fox and fit in "perfectly with the history of Greenwich Village." The real estate agent outfitted the neutral-toned apartment with various chic furniture and art pieces.

Yes, Fredrik is still married to his husband, Derek Kaplan, and the pair are enjoying their new life together with their kids in Miami.
To celebrate his and Derek's 15th anniversary, Fredrik recently surprised his hubby with an incredible European getaway.
“You know, I’m surprising my hubby with something special as we’re celebrating 15 years together this summer,” Fredrik said in a June 21 Instagram video. “You know, we have these two beautiful children; that’s enough to celebrate, but I digress. We flew first class to Paris, something that Derek’s never done before and we checked in at the new Cheval Blanc hotel and got this crazy suite overlooking the river.”
