Fredrik Eklund Gives a New Look at His Jaw-Dropping Backyard in Connecticut (PICS)
The MDLLA and MDLNY alum's expansive outdoor space is so dreamy.
Fredrik Eklund is sharing a new look at his stunning backyard in Connecticut.
On June 13, the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles and Million Dollar Listing New York alum documented his travels from Miami, where he currently lives full-time, to his country home. Although Fredrik admitted in his Instagram Story that the plane ride with his twins, Milla and Freddy, was a bit stressful, the trio arrived to the most serene setting.
In a June 14 Instagram Story video, Fredrik recorded a sweet conversation with one of his kids as they looked at the Connecticut backyard's gorgeous flowers. "Look at the bees," he said. "Do you hear all the birds, too?"
The clip also showed off the home's expansive grass area leading to a private lake, and the breathtaking pool.

Fredrik Eklund Sold His Beverly Hills House for $10 Million
While Fredrik, Derek Kaplan, and their kids still have the Connecticut house to enjoy when they are not in Miami, they recently said goodbye to their California home.
"What a bittersweet day. Today we closed on our house in Beverly Hills and I have mixed emotions but mostly grateful," Fredrik captioned a June 4 Instagram post announcing the house sold for $9,995,000. "The house holds so many beautiful memories and I know how happy the new owner will be."
Details on Fredrik Eklund's Move to Miami
As previously mentioned, Fredrik and his family recently moved from Los Angeles to Miami.
“We’re so [excited] for this new chapter,” he wrote in a July 4, 2023, Instagram post. “I do need to be closer to New York where the business is bigger than ever.”
The following month, Fredrik gave a bittersweet update on the move.
“To be honest with you our very first week in Miami has been overwhelming,” he captioned an August 26, 2023 Instagram post. “Moving across the country is a lot. Derek has been back in LA overseeing the furniture move to our house in Connecticut, and I foolishly thought I could do the first week here and the kids new school alone without a nanny.”
"In all the big moving- and transition stuff there’s been a lot of beautiful emotions too," he continued. "Taking the kids and sending them off to their first day of school in their little uniforms (I didn’t cry!), endless sunrises and sunsets over the beach, Pura Vida’s açaí-bowls in the tropical heat, the animals at Jungle Island...”
In conclusion, he noted the move was "such an exciting new chapter."
