Fredrik Eklund Shows the "Most Zen" Room in His Gorgeous Connecticut House (PHOTOS)

Being a high-powered real estate agent like Million Dollar Listing New York's Fredrik Eklund can be a little exhausting.
But when Fredrik (who his now based in Miami) has to get away from it all, he has his serene Connecticut home to escape to. Life can get hard between juggling high-powered real estate deals and raising his twins, Milla and Freddy, with husband Derek Kaplan, so we don't blame him for needing an escape. When Fredrik's family needs to get away, they have their home in the Connecticut countryside, which features the most lush green grass, stunning marble countertops, and even a room that reminds him of his childhood.

The real estate agent shared photos of the interior of his home, which is just as home-y as the outside. Fredrik gave his followers a glimpse at his kitchen, living room complete with a stunning fireplace, super cozy bedroom, and his sauna room — which has a view of the outdoors.
"The view from the sauna in glass I built is inspired by my childhood in Sweden..." Fredrik wrote over the photo of the view. "The most zen place in my world is sitting here sweating and meditating."

When Fredrik took to his Instagram Story earlier this week, he shared some new looks of the house's exterior, including a shot of the pale brick colonial-style mansion. In the photos, Milla can be seen standing outside on the grass, staring into the pond on the grounds, while Fredrik captured a snapshot of their stunning hedges surrounded by overflowing planters.
"Home is where the heart is," he wrote over the exterior shot, in addition to praising their "new gardener Adam" over the photo of the hedges.

Meditating might be super helpful, as things have gotten just a little chaotic for Fredrik and Derek. In an Instagram post, shared on Father's Day, Fredrik updated his followers on all of the things that have been going on in his children's lives as they head into the first grade next school year back in Florida.
"I'm so proud of them if you can't tell already...Freddy is going to chess camp soon and Milla loves to paint and draw and spend hours in the studio with Big D," he wrote in the caption of the post. "She's really talented with colors, very Monet. They have so many new friends in Miami and I can't keep up with their social life and all the play dates."
