Vishal Parvani of Family Karma Tests Positive for Coronavirus
The Family Karma cast member is urging people to "please stay home" after receiving the diagnosis.
Vishal Parvani announced that he has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). The Family Karma cast member shared the news on Instagram on Friday, March 27, also confirming that he has been self-isolating from his family since receiving the diagnosis.
“Hey guys, I have been self-quarantining for the past 2 weeks. After finding out that I was exposed to someone who tested positive for covid 19, I immediately got tested since I’m immunosuppressed. I was tested positive,” he wrote.
Though Vishal explained that he had already been self-quarantining with family prior to testing positive for the virus, he has since isolated himself completely from his relatives and other loved ones. “Luckily, I’ve been pretty asymptomatic for the most part, besides a slight cough,” he wrote of his condition, also noting that he is working to stay hydrated and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Vishal went on to implore his followers to follow all the necessary health precautions. “I’m doing really well, but I just want to stress please, please do not take this virus lightly. Please, if you can, stay at home. If we all do our part, this will pass quickly, so please stay at home.”
