Ooh La La! Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright Just Dropped a Major Hint About Their Wedding Cake

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's wedding countdown is on! Well, it's been on, actually — the Vanderpump Rules couple have been preparing for their big day since they got hitched over crab last year in Malibu. Since then, it's been nonstop planning, and that's included some deep dives into different cake styles. 

When The Feast caught up with Jax and Brittany at the soft opening of Tom Tom last year, the bride-to-be clued us in on the type of cake she had in mind. "Well, l can tell you what I like — I don’t know if it’s what we’d get," Brittany confided. "I like the nekkid cakes with the flowers." (She's referring to the rustic style of cake with barely-there frosting. You've definitely seen it on Pinterest.)

Of course, a lot can change in a year, and there's no telling whether Brittany stuck with her original vision. But while we wait to see the exact cake they'll serve up just days from now, the couple at least gave us a hint. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a bakery name! 

While in Kentucky putting the finishing touches on their fairytale-inspired affair, Jax and Brittany stopped by Martine's Pastries in Lexington for, it would seem, a final consultation with their baker. While there, Jax snapped a photo of some of the birthday and regular special-occasion cakes on display, noting that the shop looks like it's "straight from Paris."

Meanwhile, Brittany snapped some examples of the bakery's wedding-cake work, giving us a bigger hint about what her possibly Parisian-style gateau might look like (hey, it'd fit right in with Brittany's love for Beauty and the Beast!) "Cannot wait to see our cake!! They are amazing here at [Martine's]," Brittany wrote in her caption.
