Here’s What Surprised Brittany Cartwright the Most About "Finally" Being Single
The Valley's Brittany Cartwright just shared something unexpected about how she's finding life as a single lady.
Brittany Cartwright is newly back in the dating pool after filing for divorce from Jax Taylor, and there's one thing that's majorly taken her by surprise.
The Valley cast member just shared a video on her Instagram Stories with castmate Michelle Saniei Lally, and she lamented about the fact that her bestie is no longer single.
"When you're finally single but your girl is all boo'd up [Michelle Saniei Lally]," Brittany captioned the video.
As Brittany mentioned, Michelle is in a happy relationship. Following her split from Jesse Lally, which took place at the end of The Valley Season 1, Michelle began dating financial advisor Aaron Nosler.
It's been smooth sailing for the two ever since. Earlier in October, Michelle paid tribute to her boyfriend on Instagram in honor of his 38th birthday. "Happy birthday to the man who fills my life with love and laughter every day," Michelle wrote in the caption of her emotional post.
Her bestie Brittany, on the other hand, has not publicly stepped out with anyone after announcing her separation from Vanderpump Rules alum Jax in February 2024.
Is Brittany Cartwright dating anyone after Jax Taylor?
Brittany isn't looking to reconcile with her estranged husband, but she's also not feeling ready to date anyone else seriously.
"I'm open to whatever, but I do not need a boyfriend right now," Brittany told Access Hollywood in early October. "I've got to focus on myself, obviously, focusing on my son [Cruz Michael Cauchi], that's the most important [thing] right now. But, you know, a lot's happened to me recently. I got a lot going on. So, we'll see what happens."
In the meantime, the mom of one is enjoying her life as a single lady.
"I'm having fun," she continued about being single for the first time since 2015. "You know, see what happens. Everything is new right now. Every single thing is brand new right now, so it's crazy."
She's also focusing on her son — and trying to successfully co-parent with her ex.
"I've been through a lot..." Brittany said about her separation on the October 18 episode of her and Jax's podcast, When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany. "Hopefully one day we can be friends. It's just not right now."
