Antonia Gorga Is Following in Melissa's Footsteps in a Major Way: "She Did So Good!"
The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter is making her mother, Melissa Gorga, so proud for a very special reason.
Antonia Gorga is living that collegiate life — and she's applying some valuable lessons from her mom, Melissa Gorga.
In an October 23 Instagram Story, Melissa revealed how the University of Delaware sophomore is trying her best to cook for herself while living on her own. As it turns out, Antonia is taking after her mom in the best way.
"She did so good!!" Melissa wrote over a re-shared photo from Antonia. In the snapshot, The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter revealed how she tried out one of her beloved mom's dishes.
"Copied mommy's chicken cutlets," she wrote over her Instagram Story photo which showed off her meal for the evening. She also tagged her mother to give credit where credit was due.
The meal in question did look delicious, consisting of a breaded chicken cutlet, roasted potatoes, and salad with croutons.
Like mother, like daughter!
Antonia and Melissa Gorga Twin in Similar Red Dresses
Speaking of "like mother, like daughter," earlier in October Melissa joined her daughter at the University of Delaware for a "red dress gala" event. The mother-daughter duo looked so alike in their gorgeous red frocks, with Antonia rocking a full-length strapless gown with a chest cutout and Melissa wearing a magenta leather midi dress and black strappy heels.
"Back in Delaware for my girls['] RED DRESS GALA," Melissa captioned the two photos of herself and her daughter effortlessly twinning. "Wouldn't miss a night with my baby girl."
Joe Gorga Gushes Over Antonia's "First" at College
In addition to home cooking and fashion-forward events, Antonia is impressing her family for other reasons lately.
In September, for example, Antonia's dad, Joe Gorga, revealed how his daughter surprised their family in the best way after she made a meal for herself.
In his Instagram Stories at the time, Joe showed how he and his family (including Antonia's brothers, Gino Gorga and Joey Gorga) FaceTimed Antonia. They were pleasantly surprised to find the college sophomore doing dishes. Though Antonia didn't look too pleased, she was still happy to make time to catch up with family.
In the snapshot of the call, Joe can be seen looking overjoyed at seeing his daughter hard at work in the kitchen. "Called to show her what we were eating for dinner and she was washing dishes!" Joe wrote over the sweet photo, adding the words, "college life." In conclusion, he declared, "That's a freaking 1st!!"
