Why Brittany Cartwright and Cruz Are In Kentucky: "Just What I Needed" (PHOTOS)
The Valley cast member is getting some time with her family, including her son Cruz Cauchi, this week.
Brittany Cartwright and her son Cruz Cauchi have officially returned to Brittany's beloved home state of Kentucky. The Valley cast member currently lives in California, where she co-parents her son with her ex, Jax Taylor. But, according to her Instagram bio, she's still "just a Kentucky girl livin' in a beautiful world."
Brittany and Cruz landed in Kentucky earlier this week and immediately headed to Brittany's 400-acre family farm filled with sprawling land, lush greenery, and plenty of space for her to clear her head. Not to mention, the farm has plenty of horses and other farm animals, which Cruz seemed so excited about during their trip back in July.
This time around, Brittany took to a porch at the farm, where she showed off the gorgeous back deck, backyard pool, and other barn buildings.
"Just what I needed," Brittany wrote over the photo, accompanied by a blue heart emoji. She also tagged the farm's location in Lexington.
But Brittany didn't just go home to get a breath of fresh air — she was also there to reunite with her family members. Brittany and her family then went out to dinner, where they celebrated her nephew Luke's 17th birthday. "I can't believe he's 17 tomorrow," Brittany wrote over the snapshot of Luke, blowing out the candle on his birthday cake. "My handsome nephew happy birthday."
She wasn't the only one who was excited to be reunited with her family. Brittany then snapped a photo of Cruz, giving his older cousin, Presley Cartwright, a hug. "Cruz was sooooo happy to see Presley it was the cutest," she wrote over the sweet photo of the little boy, with his arms wrapped around his 7-year-old cousin.
Photos from Brittany Cartwright and Cruz Cauchi's fall outing
It's safe to say that Cruz is very comfortable on a farm. This was proven when Jax and Brittany took Cruz to Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark, California, earlier this month for an adorable fall outing.
Jax took to his Instagram Story at the time, where he showed them interacting with wildlife, and going on a train ride around the farm. "Cruzy! Cruz," Jax said to his son, who looked so excited to be exploring the farm in the now-disappeared Instagram Story. "Oh my goodness! Are you shocked? Are you just shocked?"
Is Brittany Cartwright dating amid her divorce from Jax Taylor?
In an interview with Access Hollywood earlier this month, Brittany revealed that she is focusing on herself and Cruz at the moment — not dating. "I'm open to whatever, but I do not need a boyfriend right now," she explained.
"I've got to focus on myself, obviously, focusing on my son, that's the most important [thing] right now," she continued. "But, you know, a lot's happened to me recently. I got a lot going on. So, we'll see what happens."
Between co-parenting and spending some much-needed time with her family, it's obvious that Brittany is focusing on herself and her family. How's that for a lot going on?
