Vicki Responds as Briana Culberson Reflects on Her "Vegas Drive Thru Wedding" to Ryan
The Real Housewives of Orange County daughter celebrated her anniversary and shed new light on eloping 13 years ago.
Brianna Culberson and her husband Ryan Culberson have officially been married for 13 years! Longtime fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County might recall that Vicki Gunvalson's only daughter dropped the news to her mom during RHOC Season 7, Episode 12 (more on that down below). But now, after being married for 13 years, Briana still has no regrets about how her first wedding played out. And, yes, you can bet her mama Vicki still has something to say about it.
Briana took to Instagram on October 23, where she posted a series of photos of her and Ryan, taken over the past 13 years. In the photos, Ryan and Briana can be seen posing in front of a Las Vegas sign, looking lovingly into each other's eyes, then posing at their formal wedding celebration in Santa Barbara.
The photos also documented the birth of the couple's four adorable kids. Briana set all of these sweet photos to "You're Still the One" by Shania Twain.
"Our little Vegas drive thru window wedding doesn't look so silly 13 years and 4 kids later!" Briana wrote in the caption of the post. "Wouldn't have it any other way! Love you [Ryan Culberson]. Sorry for the cheesiest song in the world, had to."
By the way, Vicki weighed in on the milestone, commenting, "So happy for you both and your beautiful family. Happy anniversary and here’s to a lifetime of happiness and love."
Ryan added in his own comment, "Pretty sure some people owe me money."
When did Briana Culberson get married to Ryan Culberson?
Briana and Ryan said "I do" in Las Vegas on October 23, 2011. But, they didn't tell Vicki (or any of their family members, for that matter) until after they eloped. To make matters even more frustrating for Vicki, she had only met Ryan a "couple of times" before this.
This conversation was captured on RHOC Season 7, Episode 12, when Vicki took Ryan and Briana out to dinner, where they broke the news to her. "We've just kind of realized that life is short and we just wanted to be spontaneous and we know what we want," Briana said.
"A couple of days ago, Ryan and I drove out to Vegas, it was just the two of us, and we decided to go to the courthouse and get a marriage license, then we found a chapel with a drive-thru window and we got married," she explained.

13 years later and there is so much love between the couple. Briana took to Instagram on June 8, where she penned the sweetest tribute to her husband on his 40th birthday. Briana posted a series of photos and videos taken throughout the past year, writing her tribute to him over the Reel.
"Happy happy happiest 40th birthday to my favorite person (other than the 4 little favorites you've given me)," she wrote. "We love you so much!"
In March, Briana posted a photo of her and Ryan, where she revealed that they've "been through some wonderful times and some royal sh-t." "Our current path to health, emotional healing, and overall wellness has brought our family so much closer together," she wrote in the caption of the post. "2024 is a karma year and so far we're feeling the good. It's a lot of hard work but we're on such a great path."
