Karen Huger Shares a Peek Into Her Daughter Rayvin's Chic Birthday Party
The RHOP daughter celebrated her special day with friends, cake, and a 15-course sushi dinner at her NYC pad.
Karen Huger knows a thing or two about throwing a good party. Throughout her time on The Real Housewives of Potomac, the self-proclaimed “grand dame” has hosted some fun and extravagant get-togethers, including a lavish vow renewal ceremony; an epic homecoming bash for her husband, Ray Huger; and an elaborate “Wig Shift” party for her hair accessories line.
In a previous interview with Hollywood Unlocked, Karen spoke about her love of hosting, the atmosphere she aims to create, and why some people considered her parties “over the top.”
“I married a New Yorker. Let’s keep it real, Ray is from Harlem," she said. "He grew up struggling, too. So when you come to the Huger household — the reason why people say it’s ‘over-the-top’ is because I shrink a house, no matter how big it is, to make you feel like you live there. There's always a theme to my parties, and whatever that theme is is what I'm feeling... My parties have a family theme to it, or a friendly theme."

Well, it appears Karen’s daughter has adopted the same approach to party hosting.
On Friday, September 29, Karen took to Instagram to share an inside look at Rayvin Huger's 26th birthday celebration. The RHOP daughter spent her special day with a chic and intimate soiree in her NYC apartment, where she and her friends enjoyed a night of good food, drinks, and plenty of laughs.
“My baby [Rayvin Huger] turned 26 and did it in style,” Karen captioned the post. “QUEEN!”
“My baby can throw a party,” she reiterated in an Instagram Story. “Happy birthday [Rayvin Huger].”

Rayvin also documented the event on her Instagram page, sharing photos of her and her guests dressed to the nines as they had a 15-course dinner by Tomokase, an upscale food service that provides the omakase sushi experience in the comfort of one's home.
“Last night [Tomokase Sushi] & I threw a bday bash at my house and this is how it went,” Rayvin captioned the September 29 carousel that showed off her incredible NYC pad and amazing party dress.
The dining table was covered with a striped tablecloth and adorned with white flower arrangements, candle sticks, and dark placemats, which went perfectly with the brown leather seating. Rayvin also showed off not one, but two decadent birthday cakes; one of which read: “Better at 26.”
“Yesterday was the best day of my life,” Rayvin captioned an Instagram Story of her preparing to blow out her birthday candles. “Can’t say enough good things about [Tomokase Sushi]. Insanely professional and accommodating, five star sushi, 15 courses, seamless execution for my first dinner party.”

The birthday dinner took place just weeks after Karen shared another proud-mama moment. The RHOP OG posted a video of Rayvin posing for photographers ahead of the Area show at New York Fashion Week. The Potomac daughter stunned in a lime-green mini dress that featured a plunging neckline with rhinestones on the shoulder straps and around the bust.
“TEARS IN MY EYES WATCHING THIS VIDEO!” Karen captioned the September 20 post. “My baby [Rayvin Huger] taking the fashion world by storm at the [Area] show. Forever proud LOVE MOM.”
