Ashley Darby Shows Off the Cosmetic Procedure She’s Been “Wanting to Do for a Long Time”
“I don’t know why it took me so long,” The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member said while showing her new look.
Ashley Darby is showing off her brand-new brows.
“I did something that I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. I finally did it: I went and got my brows done,” The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member shared in an August 23 Instagram Story while showing her eyebrows, which appear to be newly microbladed. “You know how much time I put [into] my brows. Oh my goodness, it’s always a struggle, like every day. So, I’m really happy.”
While talking about the process of microblading, which was done three hours before she recorded the video, Ashley explained, “It was virtually painless.” She also said the color is “gonna lighten a little bit, and then it’s gonna get to its normal color.”
“I’m gonna have beautiful brows all the time,” she added, noting that Brows by Tuull did hers. “I’m so excited. The best thing ever. I don’t know why it took me so long, but I’m glad I did [it].”
Earlier this year, Ashley opened up about a cosmetic surgery she had done. “I did get a breast augmentation surgery yesterday,” she shared in a February Instagram Story video. “I was holding off on [the surgery]… I’ve been wanting it [since] after I breastfed Dylan and things were hanging down to my waist. But I was told that if I got any sort of augmentation that I would not be able to breastfeed if I had children in the future. So that deterred me.”
However, Ashley explained at the time, “My doctor said actually as long as I just do an implant swap, instead of a breast lift where they really readjust things, that I’d be fine. So I did an implant swap. I was due.”
Bravolebs Who Have Done Microblading
Many other Bravolebs are fans of microblading, which is a semipermanent form of tattooing. In June, Scheana Shay documented the process in an Instagram Story and declared, “Finally back in getting these brows microbladed by my girl Lucy! … I hate wearing makeup all the time!”
Three months earlier, Robyn Dixon showed off her “fluffy” new eyebrows after microblading, and Melissa Gorga was excited to show her microbladed brows in 2022.
