The Real Housewives of Potomac mom-to-be pulled out all the stops for "Baby D."
Just days after Ashley Darby and her husband, Michael Darby, had the most gravity-defying and over-the-top gender reveal that we've ever seen to announce that their first "Baby D" is a boy, The Real Housewives of Potomac couple had an equally impressive baby shower at La Vie restaurant in Washington D.C.
La Vie was decked out in full-bloom spring pastels for the shower, with bright green and white polka dot tablecloths and plenty of pops of purple in the room. Plus, an aerialist kept that high-flying feeling from the gender reveal event, and, of course, the day wouldn't be complete without a perfect grassy green Instagram wall for picture-taking and memory-keeping.
"I am still coming down from the joy and excitement of Baby D's shower of love this weekend!" Ashley wrote in a sweet Instagram post sharing a video from the day. "Walking into that magical space was everything I could've ever dreamt! There was so much love radiating from each corner of the room that I couldn't stop smiling. Michael and I are blessed to be surrounded by you caring, loving, supportive people. Life is much more fulfilling with you in it."
