Does Tinsley Mortimer Regret Moving to Chicago?
The Real Housewives of New York City alum shared an honest update after packing up and leaving New York City for good.
Tinsley Mortimer finally got her fairy tale ending. But in order to get her prince, the flaxen-haired beauty had to leave the kingdom of Manhattan, and move to a faraway land called Chicago. So, now that she's left the big Apple behind, does Tinsley have any regrets?
When she appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on June 11, The Real Housewives of New York City alum shared her honest feelings on the move. (In case you missed it, Tinsley packed her bags and checked out of her hotel apartment for good on the June 11 episode of RHONY.)
In the clip above, Andy asks Tinsely: "Do you at all regret leaving New York for Chicago so suddenly?" Without missing a beat, Tinsley responds: "Not at all. I absolutely — not at all. It was something that at that moment I knew — it was scary. But I knew that I had to trust myself."
She adds: "I really followed my heart and my gut, and I knew it was the right decision. It was sad, it was scary, all of it. But you know what? I knew it was right and I had to do it, and I knew if I didn't do it, I would regret it, and the outcome has been amazing."
The outcome, as we now know, was Scott Kluth getting down on bended knee as a group of carolers sang one wintry night in Chicago. "I didn't know we were going to get engaged so soon," Tinsley says in the clip above. "I had no idea!"
And now that she's settled in her Windy City digs, Tinsley's finding lots to love about her new hometown. In an interview shared exclusively with Bravo Insider members, the RHONY alum said:
"I actually really love Chicago. Even when it was off and on for about three years we dated and I came to Chicago lots of times. I am a city girl and I love New York, obviously, so much. Chicago's like a smaller New York and it's great ... I'm very happy here."
