Josh Flagg Shares New Details on His Miami Home Build: "We Have A House That We're..."
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent is opening up about all of his exciting plans for his properties.
Look out Miami, here comes Josh Flagg. The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent might be known for his love of historic homes located in Beverly Hills, but he just revealed that he has something special in the works in Florida.
Josh appeared in an interview on Estate Media’s YouTube channel on Wednesday, Nov. 20, where he opened up about his plans for heading out east. “I already bought in Miami,” Josh revealed. He continued, noting that he bought a house in the Sunshine State with his dad. “We have a house that we’re building there…and we’re gonna put it on the market in February,” he said.
But don’t plan on seeing Josh hanging out on the Miami beaches soon. He denied the rumors that he would be starting a team out there. “I’ve only been to Miami once,” he said with a laugh.
Josh Flagg reveals his plans for living in New York City
But Josh will be spending just a little more time in New York City, where his boyfriend Kelton hails from. Although he has been adamant about staying in Los Angeles, he revealed that they have been spending more time together in the Big Apple.
“My boyfriend and I are in New York one week every month, we’re in LA three weeks a month,” he said. “So, we have a place in New York.”
Josh Flagg opens up about his new "mid-century modern" house
MDLLA Season 14 captured Josh purchasing his “dream” home in the Beverly Hills flats, sight unseen, on Bedford Drive. But after realizing the house needed to be completely gutted, he redirected his path.
Josh recently moved in to a “mid-century masterpiece” in Trousdale Estates which he purchased for a cool $14 million. “I never thought I’d buy a mid-century house, but it’s such a special house,” he explained, noting that he was apprehensive to check it out at first because of his project in Beverly Hills.
“So I took a look at it, and I was like, I really, really, like this house," he continued. "I don’t know why, it’s not my vibe, but there’s something very special about it.”
“I’m gonna enjoy it for a couple of years, but then in a couple of years, I’m going to do everything I want to do to the house, and then probably sell it,” he explained. “Now I just have to figure out what I’m gonna do with my other house.”
Josh Flagg reveals he will "never" live in the Bedford Drive house
In an Instagram post on Nov. 11, Josh continued to open up about his “other house.” Josh took to the caption of the post, where he announced the purchase of his new house and why Bedford Drive has hit a dead end.
“It appears that my child will be inheriting Bedford Drive as I have no intentions of living there …and no intentions of selling it either – so for the sixteen brokers that have called me this week along…please stop asking,” he wrote.
