Teresa Giudice Explains Why She Hired Bodyguards for Her Pool Party
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member explained why she "would be worried" without hiring bodyguards for her backyard gathering.
For her pool party seen on The Real Housewives of New Jersey's March 17 episode, Teresa Giudice went all out by providing guests with a lavish charcuterie board, a bartender to make a wide variety of drinks, and fun games to play in the pool. One over-the-top thing viewers didn't see, however, was that Teresa hired bodyguards for the gathering of friends.
In The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 11 After Show clip above, Melissa Gorga and Jennifer Aydin recalled feeling nervous about the potential of an altercation between Joe Gorga and Teresa's realtor's husband at the party. As it turns out, Teresa took some precautions to ensure no one was in danger. "I had bodyguards there, so I kind of felt safe," she explained. "If there [weren't] bodyguards there, then I would be worried... I just didn't want anybody getting hurt."
Before continuing the conversation about Joe's conflict, Jennifer took a moment to joke about Teresa hiring protection for the backyard event. "Shouldn't we all? Let's all have bodyguards at our next party," she said. "And they say I brag."
