Melissa & Joe Gorga’s New Pool Is Finally Finished & It “Looks Gorgeous” (PICS)
The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple is ready for summer with a stunning new pool and backyard.
On Part 1 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 13 reunion, which aired on May 30, Melissa Gorga shared that although her family had moved into their new home in November 2022, they were “still doing a lot of work to the outside” of the house. That presumably included the backyard and pool, which Joe Gorga revealed on June 14 are finally complete.
“We got this done. Let me tell you something, it looks gorgeous,” Joe said in an Instagram Story video, noting that the pool was completed by The Pool Boss just in time for Antonia Gorga’s incredible pre-prom party that night. “Love this.”

“Look at that — waterfalls,” Joe said as he gave a full look at the massive pool, which has two ledge loungers and a stunning glow at night thanks to four firepits and special lighting. “Look at these lights. Gorgeous!”
As Joe showed in his video, there is a grassy area with white pavers between the pool and the house, and one flight up is a covered porch with a mounted television and plenty of seating.
Based on their former house in Montville, New Jersey, and their jaw-dropping Jersey Shore home (see it in the video above), it’s clear that having an amazing pool area is a priority for the Gorgas. With that in mind, it’s no surprise that Melissa was excited to show off the progress of the family’s soon-to-be pool and backyard space when it was under construction. “Let’s take a look out back,” she wrote in an August 2022 Instagram caption. “Black [and] white vibes. Outdoor porch in progress, pool coming along.”

Melissa Gorga’s Recent Interior Updates to Her New House
In addition to completing the dreamy outdoor area, Melissa and Joe have also recently made some interior changes. In March, Melissa revealed that she had replaced the black fabric chandeliers in the foyer with a new one made of brass and crystals.
“I absolutely love playing with home decor — I always have,” Melissa wrote in the caption of an Instagram video showing off the new fixture. “Waking up to this beauty is just sooo much better… Luckily I work with the best [Avenue Lighting]!! Love to be able to play around with ideas!! Decor is a process. Sometimes you need to live in the home for a minute to decide what fits perfectly.”
Melissa Gorga’s Response to Criticism of Her New House
During the reunion episode, Melissa took a moment to respond to people who have made negative comments about the design of the home. “First of all, I’m the one that has to live there,” she said. “So I don’t care what anybody says.”
