We Just Discovered Something New About Craig Conover’s Backyard (PHOTOS)
The Southern Charm cast member takes pride in his stunning backyard, filled with plants, flowers, and fruit.
Craig Conover's backyard is one of the finest features in his Charleston home. The Southern Charm cast member takes pride in his amazing landscaping, lush gardens, vast pool, and constant new additions to the space. So, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Craig's backyard also has citrus trees in it, too.
In photos posted to his Instagram Story, Craig showed off his super beautiful trees, filled with neon-colored citrus fruits, growing on branches overflowing with green leaves. Craig doesn't need to go to the grocery store or the farmer's market with his fruitful bounty. Seriously, he has so many lemons, he can make a delicious drink or use it as a decorative garnish.
The Sewing Down South pillow magnate also captured his flowering bushes and his putting green sitting in the background behind the citrus trees. "Backyard citrus," he captioned the snapshots, alongside the words "home with Craig."
It's hard to imagine that Craig's knack for gardening started as a small herb garden with humble beginnings. Even Shep Rose was impressed by the yard — which was renovated last year — and all of its features. "So we've come a long way, I think everyone can attest to that," Shep said in a video posted to his Instagram Story in May 2023.
"This is Craig's new spread out behind his new house," he continued. "He's got a putting green; we just got out of the hot tub."
Craig Conover says his pool is open "year-round"
Craig's backyard is also a major place for entertaining all year long. During an Instagram Q&A session earlier this month, he revealed that he keeps his pool and jacuzzi open year-round, which allows him and his guests to take a dip in the water whenever they want.
"I know it's crazy but Charleston is southern enough to leave it open all year," Craig wrote over a photo of his pool at nighttime. "I don't even think there's a way to cover mine."
Craig Conover says his backyard has been his biggest splurge
From the fruit trees to the gorgeous pool, to the bees that live there, Craig has seriously invested in his backyard. In a September 2024 interview with Life & Style, he admitted that he had put a lot of time and effort into the outdoor space, which has everything in it to put a smile on his face.
"I basically built everything that makes me happy: an outdoor kitchen, a big screen TV out there that I can watch from the pool. We've got our bees and our garden."
