Jennifer Aydin Responds to Criticism of Her Kitchen Chandeliers
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member revealed whose opinion about her decor actually “matters.”
If there’s one thing Jennifer Aydin takes pride in, it’s her extravagant New Jersey home.
In the video above, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom takes us through her gorgeous 12,000-square-foot mansion, which includes nine generously sized bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a dreamy walk-in closet, a basketball court, an expansive kitchen, and more.
“I wanted a double island kitchen because, obviously, that’s the hottest thing right now,” Jennifer states in the video, pointing to the large space with two gleaming marble islands and upholstered counter stools. She also puts the stunning “double oven” on display and shows how the space gets plenty of light from several glowing chandeliers.
While we honestly can never get enough of the dazzling details of Jennifer’s multiple homes, the mom of five has sometimes faced criticism about her design sense. Luckily, she knows exactly how to respond to her detractors.
Jennifer Aydin shuts down criticism about her chandeliers
On July 18, Jennifer took to her Instagram Stories to first share that she had received some negative feedback about her kitchen’s overhead lighting fixtures from someone via email.
“I love my chandeliers. And the only opinion that matters to me [is] my own,” Jennifer quipped over the snapshot of her kitchen with the five chandeliers in view. Jennifer ended her sentiments with an amused smiling emoji, letting her critics know she’s keeping her home decor business, well, at home!
Jennifer Aydin’s redecoration before-and-after
Jennifer still lives in her enormous New Jersey abode with her family, but she has made some significant changes to the interior since the aforementioned home tour.
“I have been waiting to redecorate my house for a long time,” Jennifer said on Episode 12 of RHONJ Season 11, which aired on May 5, 2021. “When I first moved into the house, I was really gravitating towards [my husband] Bill [Aydin]’s style. He loves elaborate, regal, ornate. And then the pandemic hit and I’m staring at it all day and night, and I’m thinking how much I cannot stand this furniture.”
During the episode, the brunette beauty was excited about her new design details (which included chic new tables, eye-catching pillows, patterned rugs, and more), declaring, “The transformation is happening!”
