Jennifer Aydin Explains Why She Doesn't Get Involved in Room Drama on Cast Trips
The RHONJ cast member had a very specific reason for feeling indifferent about her bedroom assignment on the group trip to Ireland.
Housewives' group trips are always unpredictable, but if there's one thing we've come to expect when the cast members from any city go on vacation together, it's drama over bedrooms.
With that in mind, on the April 11 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Dolores Catania made sure to bring up the room arrangements as the group headed to their Ireland castle.
"Since I never get the big room, and I've given my room up many a time, and I planned the trip, I'm gonna take the nice room," Dolores said. "Because Teresa is the bride, she's going to get the other big room. Then we'll pick out of a hat for the rest."
After arriving at Ballinlough Castle, the ladies were eager to see where they would be sleeping. Jennifer Aydin, however, didn't care which of the nine bedrooms she ended up in. "These bitches, they're such divas. They're always talking about the f--king room they're gonna get," Jennifer said in an interview. "Like, 'I want this room. I need this room.'"
"I don't even care where I sleep," she continued. "'Cause guess what? I sleep in a palace every day of my life."
Jennifer is, of course, referring to her massive home in Paramus, New Jersey, which famously boasts 16 bathrooms (take a tour of her house in the video above). Although Jennifer was initially indifferent about her accommodations for the trip, once she saw the room she would be staying in, she suddenly changed her tune.
After walking into her stunning bedroom with a massive bathroom big enough to have a soaking tub, seating area, and a chandelier, Jennifer declared, "I'm so happy right now." In an interview, she added, "Forget what I said. I am just like so enjoying this right now."
"How about that?" she added. "The universe gave me the best room."
Melissa Gorga was also unfazed by the room selection process — but for an entirely different reason. "To be honest, it doesn't even matter what my room looks like, 'cause I'm never in a million years gonna sleep in this room alone," Melissa said in an interview, referencing her fear that the castle was haunted. "I'll be sleeping with Jackie or Margaret."
