See Inside the Stunning Irish Castle Where the New Jersey Housewives Stayed
The RHONJ cast members’ vacation home in Ireland was a breathtaking castle with nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
On the April 4 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Dolores Catania shared that she had a big vacation planned for her castmates. “When Paulie [Connell] took me to Ireland for Valentine’s Day, it was the most beautiful trip ever,” she explained. “I came back a different person… I’d like us all to go back.”
The ladies were ecstatic about the idea, and because they were heading to, as Dolores put it, “the bachelor party capital of the world,” the trip would be a celebration for Teresa Giudice as her wedding date approached.
When the group arrived in Ireland on the show’s April 11 episode, they were blown away by their accommodations: Ballinlough Castle in the Irish countryside.
“I grew up on Staten Island. So this is a very different experience for a bachelorette party than I’m used to,” Danielle Cabral declared in an interview. “We are usually staying in some dingy hotel, running to the clubs. So I upgraded.”
Built in the 17th century, the 10,800-square-foot castle sits on 300 acres of grassland and has nine bedrooms and seven bathrooms. According to its website, the stunning property is located one hour from Dublin.
While Melissa Gorga and Rachel Fuda were beyond impressed by the castle, they did have one concern. Melissa, who noted in an interview that she’s a “scaredy cat,” declared that the paintings adorning the walls were “typical haunted type artwork.” Rachel clearly agreed, stating, “This is definitely haunted.”

After getting settled into the castle and having a gorgeous lunch in the dining room, the ladies headed out for their first bachelorette party event in Dublin. As Teresa explained, this was a very different experience from the bachelorette celebration she had before marrying Joe Giudice. “My first bachelorette party, we went to go see male strippers in Long Island,” she shared. “It was all right.”
Dolores, meanwhile, “never had a bachelorette party” and admitted, “I’m gonna just kind of relive vicariously [through] this one, make it about me too a little.”
