Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Has a Full Cliffside Outdoor Playground at Home
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member has an incredible outdoor setup at her house perched on the side of a cliff.
For Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave's kids, home is where the outdoor fun is.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member recently showed off her incredible open-air play area in a series of Instagram Stories. In the videos, Teddi's eldest kids with husband Edwin, 7-year-old Slate and 5-year-old Cruz, run around the family's backyard playground. The impressive setup boasts a trampoline, slide, swing set, and monkey bars.
In one video, Cruz tells his mom that he's going to try the monkey bars, to which she responds: "You can do them at the park, let's see if you can do them at the house!" Ultimately, the little one was successful, and ran to give Teddi a high five after.
Later, the family, including Edwin's 11-year-old daughter Isabella, headed to the modern home's outdoor basketball court for what turned into some friendly competition among the family members.
While the kids are likely excited by the sight of the playground out their front door every morning, Teddi marvels over the breathtaking view across Los Angeles straight to the Pacific Ocean. "The view is really my happy place,” Teddi told BravoTV.com during a 2019 tour of the five-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom home. “If you feel a little stressed all of a sudden you walk out here, take a couple breaths, and you’re good to go.”
Soon enough, Slate, Cruz, and Isabella will have another sibling join them on the jungle gym. Teddi and Edwin welcomed daughter Dove on February 25, and the newborn is already part of the family's outdoor antics. In Teddi's Instagram Stories, Dove is asleep in Edwin's arms as her older siblings enjoy the playground.
Since Dove's birth, it seems the new family dynamic is going smoothly, as Teddi recently shared in an Instagram post that she was "bursting with pride watching my older kids gently, lovingly & eagerly jump into their new found big sibling roles."
