Sanya Richards-Ross Proudly Displays Her Baby Bump at the 2023 Maxim Awards
The RHOA cast member hit the red carpet in a stomach-baring streetwear look.
Sanya Richards-Ross is bumping along in style.
As she prepares to welcome baby No. 2, The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom stopped in Beaverton, Oregon, this week for the 2023 Maxim Awards at the Nike World Headquarters. Sanya attended the ceremony, which coincided with Nike’s “Just Do It” Day, alongside her husband, Aaron Ross, and their 6-year-old son, Aaron Jermaine Ross II, aka “Deuce.”
On Friday, September 8, the four-time Olympic gold medalist gave fans an inside look at the star-studded event, posting photos and videos of her backstage encounters as well as a few shots of her family’s red carpet outfits. Sanya was, of course, among the night's standouts, as she showed up in an elevated streetwear ensemble that was relaxed, playful, and downright cool.

The RHOA cast member rocked a pair of loose-fitting jeans with a metallic polka-dot pattern as well as a white Nike sports bra that showed off her growing belly. The sporty top was layered underneath an unbuttoned green cardigan, which was a collaborative design by Nike Jordan, Union, and Bephies Beauty Supply. The cropped sweater featured a boxy silhouette, ribbed cuffs, a tonal trim, and embroidered co-branding on the front, which gave off a collegiate sportswear vibe.
She completed the look with a sleek ponytail, a pair of hoop earrings, a chunky chain necklace, and white Nike sneakers.
Sanya also took a moment to showcase her hubby’s coordinated Nike outfit. The two-time Super Bowl champ stepped out in a green short-sleeve button-down that combined military and workwear elements. The shirt featured a loose fit with utilitarian chest pockets and a white swoosh logo on the front. Aaron paired the top with some oil-green cargo shorts, and accessorized with a gold watch and necklace, and a pair of white Nikes.

The Atlanta track star went on to share some highlights from the awards ceremony, including several behind-the-scenes snaps with Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant; nine-time Olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis; and singer/actress Teyana Taylor, who performed during the show.
“No one does it quite like [Nike],” she captioned a red carpet photo, “JDI Day and the [Maxim Awards] were special and even more so because I was with these cuties for it!”

Sanya announced her latest pregnancy back in July, just months after suffering a miscarriage. She opened up about the heartbreaking moment in an exclusive interview with People magazine earlier this ummer.
“It was very traumatic. I was in New York and had a really bad miscarriage,” she said. “I had to go to the hospital. I had to have a blood transfusion. It was very, very, very scary. You already opened your heart to becoming a mom, so it was awful. Even just talking about it… it really was a difficult time.”
Sanya said the miscarriage “put everything in perspective” and made her realize just how much she wanted another child. About a month after the traumatic experience, Sanya learned she and Aaron were expecting another baby. She later confirmed that the bundle of joy was due on December 25.
“It’s going to be the best Christmas gift ever, but I just couldn’t be happier and more clear about,” she told the outlet. “I know I can do this. I’ve done it before. I have the support. I know what to expect. I’m so ready to meet this little one.”
