Kylie Jenner's 1st Birthday Cake for Daughter Stormi Is Not What We Expected (UPDATED)
Cosmetics mogul mom Kylie Jenner scaled down Stormi's birthday bash.
UPDATE (9:27 P.M. PST, SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2019): Well, this explains everything! Last weekend, Kylie Jenner postponed daughter Stormi Webster's first birthday party due to rain in Southern California so the cake described below had been a cake... but not the cake. Then on February 9, Kylie hosted a way over-the-top carnival-theme birthday party — and at that "Stormiworld" bash, this jaw-dropper became Stormi's official cake. And it's much more in line with what we expected.

The extended Kardashian and Jenner family members love to mark all their most important celebrations in life with cake — many of which they scoop up from Hansen's Bakery in Los Angeles. And often, the confections can get really crazy — as in the rollercoaster cake that Kylie Jenner's beau Travis Scott had at his Magic Mountain party, or the Barbie gone wild cake that Kylie had last year at her own 21st.
Well, Kylie and Travis' daughter Stormi Webster just turned one, and the power couple took Instagram by surprise... by going pretty low-key on her birthday cake. Nary an exploding rainbow in sight, the cake featured just an avalanche of colored sprinkles and a simple "Happy Birthday Stormi" message.
What, no diamonds?
After Kylie scaled down the party given the inclement weather in Southern California, she gave Stormi the cake at a streamlined indoor bash. The colorful treat was part of an overall rainbow theme, with the most adorable table setting.
