Khloe Kardashian's Menu for True's First Birthday Party: See the Pastel Animal-Theme Sweets... and the Cake!
Mama Khloe Kardashian gave daughter True Thompson a sweet first birthday bash with butterflies, pigs, and elephants making appearances on the dessert menu.
As adorable and thoughtful as Khloe Kardashians sweet treats were for her daughter True Thompon's actual first birthday on April 12, we figured she'd have more sugary fanfare up her sleeve.
For one thing, the Kardashians take their cakes very seriously. (Consider that Khloe is the mom who served an epic cupcake spread for her daughter's half birthday.)
For another, Khloe's half-sister Kylie Jenner's cake for her own daughter Stormi's first birthday ended up being a rather understated sweet little thing — which only foreshadowed an over-the-top birthday bash and motorized cake that even managed to surpass typical Kardashian standards. So we suspected Khloe might pull a similar move for True. And sure enough, there was more to come indeed.
On Saturday, April 14, Khloe shared photos from True's official first birthday party, which featured icy treats from the POP cart — that's Pacific Organic Pops — which offers multiple fruity and creamy flavors on offer from a chic mobile station.
And, as sister Kim Kardashian shared on her own Instagram, dessert offerings at the party also included a cotton candy station — but naturally it didn't serve up just any ordinary spun sugar on sticks. This cotton candy was rendered in the shape of pastel pigs, with ears, eyes, and sugary snouts.
Kim also showed off a wall of pretty pastel donuts, each dipped on one side in rainbow sprinkles.
Khloe gave a closer look at some mini donuts stacked alongside butterfly-topped cake pops, and cones topped with bunny faces, just right for springtime.
And then there was the cake...
It turns out, True's cake — which sat next to other precious, pastel desserts such as those mini donuts and cones on the sweets table — was much simpler than cousin Stormi's. (As are most cakes ever made, it might be noted.)
True's cake was a three-tiered, white-iced affair, ringed with rainbow butterflies — and topped with a white baby elephant. Behold:
Happy birthday, little one. Here's to a sweet year ahead!
