On Season 2, Episode 5 of Southern Hospitality, Gaston was involved in a complicated love triangle with Joe Bradley and his co-worker Salley. (Taylor started dating Gaston in the fall of 2023, several months after the season was filmed.)
During the episode, Joe and Salley had a date at the VIP manager’s apartment. However, it was later revealed by TJ that Salley had "made out" with Gaston a few hours before she went to see Joe.
To prevent Gaston and Joe from getting hurt, TJ decided to confront Salley about the situation. While discussing the drama, Salley denied kissing Gaston, but TJ didn’t "believe" her. Gaston also got in on the social media fun by posting a picture of the two on his Instagram Stories, and Taylor re-shared the image on her own feed.

"[Gaston]'s actually TJ's roommate," Taylor said. "So, I met him through TJ. But he's awesome, he's great, he's normal."
