Alexia Nepola’s marital woes have taken a heavy toll on both of her children, especially her youngest son, Frankie Rosello.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Miami on Peacock and the Bravo App.

The Real Housewives of Miami mom confirmed this during the November 24 episode of the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Showwhen a fan asked how Frankie and his older brother, Peter Rosello, were handling her ongoing split from Todd Nepola.

Alexia Nepola explains how her divorce has affected her kids

“How do Peter and Frankie feel about your divorce with Todd?” the audience member asked during Bravo Fan Fest in Miami.

“It’s been tough for Frankie because Frankie is all about love,” Alexia said with tears in her eyes. “It’s been tough for both of them… I’ve seen Frankie more, his emotions. Peter holds everything in and he just wants me to be happy and he’s been there with me and supportive. But it’s been tough for all of us.”

Alexia says she and Todd are "trying to figure things out"

Todd filed to divorce Alexia in April 2024 after more than two years of marriage. Although the move left Alexia “shocked and heartbroken,” she said she was thankful to have her friends and family by her side.

“It’s so hard to talk about,” she said in the April 28 episode of her and Marysol Patton’s podcast, Ay Por Favor. “For the first week, for the first two weeks — actually, still today, it’s been three weeks, and I’m still going back in my head like, ‘What happened?’… My children, Peter and Frankie, have been by my side. And I just believe that the only way to heal is with love and through love. So I’m very lucky to have that because I really do believe that love is the healing power.”

Eight months after Todd’s filing, Alexia suggested there was still hope for marriage. The self-proclaimed “Cuban Barbie" told People magazine she and Todd still loved each other and were “trying to figure things out.”

While appearing on a Bravo Fan Fest panel, Alexia also revealed she was not dating anyone and was still wearing her wedding ring.

“I’m still married,” she told the crowd.

Alexia gives an update on Frankie: "Every day, he's better"

During the November 23 WWHL After Show, Alexia provided a positive update on Frankie, who suffered permanent brain damage caused by a 2011 car crash.

“Frankie is doing great,” she told the audience. “He’s still working with me at the beauty bar and now we’re looking for other opportunities, like, maybe at a hotel because he loves people so much and just being a host at a hotel. He’s communicating a lot more. Every day, he’s better…. Thank you for all the love you always show Frankie.”

Julia Lemigova’s wife, Martina Navratilova, also shared a few kind words for Frankie during the episode: “I just want to say one thing about Frankie: Julia and I had dinner with Alexia and Frankie and he is the sweetest young man I have ever known.”
